Laycock Family

I took Larry and Lisa Laycock's studio portraits a couple months ago. They are called as Mission Presidents so they needed some updated family portraits as well. I shot these in their ridiculously gorgeous backyard. I REALLY want a backyard that looks like this someday.
They were such a sweet and fun family to work with. Good luck out there!

Avenia

Avenia Bridal is a fabulous designer bridal boutique that offers gorgeous gowns that can have custom made sleeves to make them temple ready. Here are some shots I took of a bride with a gown before and after the sleeves were put on. This dress was stunning! She is actually getting married at the same time as my step-brother (Dane) in the same temple, so I am most likely going to see them on the temple grounds at the same time. What a small world!

Dan and Melissa

Dan and Melissa are getting married in Texas, which is Melissa's home state. We took their engagements on two different days. The evening that we shot at the Great Salt Lake Dan and Melissa missed the exit and noticed that they were in Layton... Yikes! Not only that, but all of a sudden a crazy wind storm came in. Ok, it was so cold and windy that if I turned my head I felt like I was deaf. I am amazed at how fabulous I am sometimes. With Greg busting out some off camera flash, we were able to shoot not only with all of the cloud cover, but after the sun set. I think they were so romantic.

Why doesn't anyone post any comments? I need some comments people! And some more followers!

Spencer and Staycee

Spencer and Staycee were my first couple to hire me from Las Vegas. My videographer friend came to Las Vegas too, so of course we brought our husbands along. :)
Spencer and Staycee reminded me of a couple from Hollywood in the 1930's. They were so candid, and giggled, smiled, and just completely were in love. They originally had a different photographer hired, but decided to go with me instead. So I wasn't their photographer for their engagements and bridals. :( Sad for me! Anyway, such a fun weekend! At their brunch we ate homemade tamales. My husband and I are definitely a fan of the tamale, so we were in heaven after shooting at the temple and being able to take advantage of the deliciousness!
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day!

Stephanie

These bridals were a long time coming. Tulips in the background...
Stephanie is marrying my step-brother Dane. This dress turned out stunning! Shauna Schaures (my neighbor and friend) is a custom gown designer. She made this dress along with Stephanie's ideas. My little Ellie is a little flower girl and had a custom gown made to match Stephanie's. Fabulous fabulous fabulous! I am so excited!

Whitney

What a stunning bride! Her eyes were ridiculously gorgeous, and the hair and the veil! I loved how she totally showed her personality through her dress.

Newton Family

Alyssia Newton was one of my brides last year. Her family needed some family photos, so of course they would call me... :) They chose fantastic colors to wear. They were so much fun to shoot because they just always were laughing! Here are some of my favs.

Garrison and Stacy

I was OBSESSED with this fabulous lime green flower. It's exactly what I've been seeing a lot of this season. Greens, cream, and white. Lots of monochromatic bouquets. I love it! Garrison and Stacy were so much fun on their wedding day.

So we originally planned for the lavender fields, but they are definitely not ready to be photographed. Then stupid Utah storms came to play, so we went inside instead. I think these turned out absolutely gorgeous! The Joseph Smith Memorial Building is just stunning.

Lindsay

This was such a good day to shoot. At the very end of the session a black evil storm came rolling in. We were so lucky that we were able to finish before the rain came. Lindsay is a gorgeous bride. She's getting married at La Caille, and I can't wait for her wedding!

Natalie

David and Natalie's wedding was yesterday. She asked me not to blog these images until after her wedding. Their wedding was SO much fun! Near the end the groom had everyone dance, including the photographers. Once I process the images I'll put some on my blog. They're hilarious!

Nathan

Nathan is the son of Sara Hawkes. I did her wedding in 2007. It's so much fun to see my brides again, and have them bring a baby to photograph.

Chelsea

DJ and Chelsea are such a fabulous couple! I absolutely totally loved this shoot. Yes, it takes forever to get to the salt flats, but I think it is 100% worth it. I love love her dress, and her fabulous shoes. Her shoes are from Jerusalem I think. Her bouquet was stunning and I love how she did her hair! So cute, and definitely a lot of fun.

Michael and Marie

Michael and Marie were in town from Reno, Nevada to attend one of my recent weddings. Michael's Mom came up to me at Tom and Serena's wedding and asked if I had any time within the next couple days to shoot this couple's engagement photos. So I squeezed them in to my ridiculous schedule. In fact, it was my birthday when I shot these. I am now 26 which means middle to late 20's now. I know all of you old people out there thing 26 is so young! But ya know what, I REALLY liked 25. It was a cute number. So blah to 26!

Jessica

What a cute cute bride! I did her engagements, and she wanted to come back to do her bridals. She's getting married in Oregon this Friday, but I already had a wedding. She was so much fun to work with.

Ashley

So Ashley asked me not to blog these until after her wedding because her fiance, Matt, always checks my blog. :) So here they are. We went to an orchard when it was in bloom. I think they turned out gorgeous! The bees were a little frightening, but I battled them so I could get these shots.
